Vanuatu passed the Nationality Regulations (Donation Plan) in 2016. The donation plan raises funds and attracts high-quality new immigrants to promote national development. Anyone who donates a specified amount (starting at US$80,000) to the Vanuatu government can apply for a Vanuatu passport. The procedures are convenient, no entry is required, and no immigration supervision is required. It only takes an average of 1-2 months to obtain a passport, enjoy visa-free treatment for many countries in the European Union, Australia and Asia, and become a "tax-free paradise" citizen.

According to the latest announcement by relevant Vanuatu authorities, starting from July 23, 2020, all applicants who apply for a Vanuatu passport through the citizenship by investment program will have the passport limited period from the original 5-year period to a 10-year period!
