The skilled immigration quota for 2022-23 is 109,900, more than 30,000 more than in 2021-22. It accounts for about 70% of the total PR quota.
Employer guarantees rose from 22,000 to 30,000, an increase of 8,000 or a whopping 36%.
189 (independent skilled immigrants) rose from 6,500 to 16,652, an increase of 2.56 times.
State guarantees rose to 20,000 from 11,200 in the previous fiscal year, an increase of 8,800, or a whopping 78.6 per cent.
